Summary

  • Job Summary
    • A Physician Assistant works in collaboration with a physician for assistance in clinical decision-making, case management and evaluation of performance. The Physician Assistant provides advanced nursing care and treatment to patients and performs physical examinations; orders diagnostic tests, develops treatment plans and prescribes drugs or other therapies. The Physician Assistant may also plan, direct, or coordinate medicine and health services in hospitals, clinics, managed care organizations, public health agencies, or similar organizations. The Physician Assistant maintains a relationship with adjusters and employers to communicate work status to them. Will completes EMR within 48 hours of appointments, communicate via Tele Med Camera with Collaborating Provider as needed and Triage and coordinate care for new walk-in work injuries.

    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
    • Experience
      • No Prior Experience Required
    • Skills
      • Self motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people
      • Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills
      • Proficient computer skills
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Missouri PA License
      • BLS obtain within first 90 days of hire
