Summary

Job Summary
- A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient or group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care for these patients thorough therapeutic use of self, the patient care/problem solving or nursing process; through the environment/instrumentation; and through other health care team members.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - Required: 6 months Endoscopy Technician experience OR 1 year of medical care experience
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  - Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  - Able to work in an organized manner
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
  - Preferred: Certified through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)
