• Job Summary
  • As in Nurse Assistant at CoxHealth’s 400 Med-Surg Cardiac, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day basics of patient care. Enjoy helping patients while working under the direction of nursing staff to perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, and moving patients, changing linens, and other assigned duties. You will obtain information on patients’ conditions as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition.
• Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience
    • 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR
    • Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years OR
    • Completed the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program OR
    • Must have Missouri CNA License OR
    • Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
