Summary

Job Summary
  • The Account Advisor is responsible for following up with patients regarding outstanding balances and delinquent accounts by mail or telephone. Assists patients with setting up payment plans based on their financial status and provides information regarding financial assistance. Responsible for documenting information about customer’s financial status and status of collection efforts. Manages work queues to prevent accounts from being overdue within the identified time frame.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience
    • Preferred: Medical billing and claims processing experience; familiarity with insurance industry and collection processes.
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
    • Proficient Computer skills
    • Ability to multi-task and have attention to detail
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • N/A
