Summary

  • Job Summary
    • As an RN in the CoxHealth Coumadin clinic, you will play a crucial role in the management of our cardiovascular patient’s anticoagulation therapy. Enjoy having weekends off with a consistent, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm schedule that allows you to work side by side with patients and providers. Clinical duties are performed under the direction and support of clinic providers and include performing INR testing, medication management, and patient education. Administrative duties include phone call triage, data entry, scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. We offer thorough hands-on training to help you be successful in this role.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of a state board accredited School of Nursing or NLN approved program
    • Experience
      • Preferred: Previous nursing experience, particularly in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
    • Skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
      • Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversite.
      • Proficient Computer skills
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Current Registered Nurse License active in the state of Missouri
      • Required: Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
