Job Summary

ENT is more than just sinus infections and sore throats. We also care for head and neck cancers, hearing loss, cochlear implants in addition to the run of the mill runny nose, cough, and congestion. As an ENT MA/LPN, you will assist in procedures with dedicated and knowledgeable physicians and collaborate with other clinics to arrange for quality patient-centered care. In ENT, you will educate patients from the start to the end of their surgical journey for all ages. You will be supported by a group of eclectic and knowledgeable staff that can help solve any problems that may come your way. Patient care is at the center of our ever expanding practice.

Job Requirements

Education

Required: Graduated from a formal MA training program that included pharmacology class, anatomy/physiology, the basics of medication administration, and completion of a clinical externship, OR graduated with an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.

Experience

  • Required: None
  • Preferred: Previous experience in health care setting, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversite.
    • Proficient Computer skills
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: Certification from a program recognized by CoxHealth - CMA (AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants) OR RMA (AMT – American Medical Technologist, or American Association of Medical Personnel) OR NCMA (NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing),  CCMA (NHA - National Healthcareer Association), NRCMA (NAHP- National Association for Health Professionals ),  OR LPN.
    • Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire.
