  • Job Summary
    • A Construction Tech II is responsible for completing construction projects relating to preparation and application of Interior Finishes, Millwork, Cabinetry, Doors & Frames and Hardware.  Will work with a team to accomplish the overall goal of the CoxHealth construction refresh projects. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and is able to complete work assignments. The Construction Tech II contribute skills and ideals that are valuable in construction finishing work and trains others if the need arises. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and is able to complete work assignments pertaining to general behaviors. The Construction Tech II may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary and approved by the Supervisor.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
      • Preferred: Trade School in construction fields
    • Experience
      • Required: 3 years’ experience in the construction, remodel, or a related field
    • Skills
      • Basic knowledge of skill trades in one or more of the following:
        • Paint Finishes
        • Wall Covering
        • Ceiling Finishes
        • Floor Finishes
        • Millwork, hardware and adjustments to existing
        • Door, Frames, Hardware and adjustment to existing
        • Basic Electrical
        • Basic Plumbing & fixtures
      • Problem solving skills.
      • Basic communication skills.
      • Ability to prioritize workload.
      • Basic knowledge of the safe operation of all tools used in the performance of duties
      • Basic knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing fire alarm systems, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems and building repairs
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Active Driver's License
      • Preferred: Healthcare Certified in construction field
