  • Job Summary
    • The Sepsis Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for oversight of the sepsis program and is accountable for assessing and coordinating the management of the potential sepsis/sepsis patient. The coordinator works collaboratively with the medical and hospital staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the care of the sepsis patient, to include, but not limited to, the implementation of evidence-based practices as related to sepsis care; provide clinical and professional expertise for patients, families and staff; collect and analyze sepsis related data and make recommendations and develop reports on data; and provide sepsis education at the bedside and in the classroom.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other related field
    • Experience
      • Required: 2 years related experience
      • Preferred: Experience in emergency or critical care nursing
    • Skills
      • Excellent public relation skills
      • Excellent use of laptop computer
      • Excellent critical thinking and conflict management skills
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License
      • Preferred: Certification in related field
