Job Summary
- Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - No Experience Required
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician/intern OR technician/intern application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days of hire
  - Required: Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited Pharmacy organization. No certification needed with a current Missouri Pharmacy Intern License
