  • Job Summary
  • The System Contracting Business Coordinator reports to the Director of System Contracting.  This individual is responsible for performing a range of contract-related tasks.  This includes assisting with submitting contracts for review, working with CoxHealth Departments to ensure prerequisites to contracting are complete, communicating with internal stakeholders regarding their contract needs, managing vendor relationships, and actively managing contractual relationships.  The System Contracting Business works closely with CoxHealth Departments to facilitate contract review and execution consistent with the Department’s needs, the Contracting Department’s processes, and CoxHealth’s goals and requirements.  This includes working closely with Biomedical Services, Information Technology, Materials Management, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, and other relevant teams.  The System Contracting Business Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the System Contracting Department’s review and processing of contractual agreements. 
  • Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Associate Degree. In lieu of degree, 5+ years’ experience in contract management, administration, and/or procurement
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
    • Experience
        • Required: Two or more years of recent work experience related to law, compliance, contract management, database management, administration, and/or procurement.
        • Preferred: Healthcare, purchasing, and/or supply chain experience
    • Skills
        • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
        • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
        • Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.
        • A working knowledge of contract language, terms, and conditions.
        • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
        • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
        • Ability to maintain confidentiality with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.
