Job Summary
Primary tasks include patient registration, collecting of money due, posting of money collected, responsible for monies collected, closing out and balancing at the end of each day. Additional tasks include photocopying, faxing, filing, answering telephones, medical records, computer data entry, charge entry and other duties as assigned. Provides a variety of clerical duties and has the ability to cover all aspect of the department.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Self starter and flexible with work schedule
Proficient in using computers and computer systems
Excellent time management and ability to multi-task
Maintains a working knowledge and appropriately utilizes the required programs for scheduling, registering, and admissions, as directed
Demonstrates knowledge of project/specialized jobs and performs all functions utilizing organizational and priority setting skills
