Job Summary
- The Clinic nurse assesses employee health needs related to workplace immunity and vaccinations and manages any blood or communicable disease exposures. The nurse develops and implements protocols and care plans and maintains medical records related to employee health. The Clinic nurse will be responsible for the below duties:
  - Assess employee health needs related to workplace immunity and vaccination
  - Maintain health records related to employee health protocols
  - Manage blood and communicable disease exposures
  - Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to protocol development, quality improvement, and problems solving
  - Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with CoxHealth values
  - Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and blood draws
Job Requirements
- Education
  - - Required: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Experience
  - - Preferred: Previous nursing experience and phlebotomy skills
- Skills
  - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  - Proficient computer skills
  - Exhibits valuable time management skills
  - Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
  - Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - LPN license active in the state of Missouri
  - BLS must be obtained within 90 days
