Job Summary

As an Urgent Care Nurse at CoxHealth Urgent Care Sunshine, you will provide professional nursing care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma for patients of all ages. The UC nurse triages and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological, or social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system. The UC nurse works quickly to assess the needs of each patient, prioritize care based on the critical nature, works to stabilize the patient, initiate treatment, discharge the patient after the emergency is over or make arrangements for a longer hospital stay.

LPN Job Summary

The Clinic nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, maintains medical records, and assists the physician with office procedures as needed. This nurse will administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients of various age groups. The Clinic nurse may advise patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management as needed.
