  • Job Summary
    • A Construction Tech I is responsible for completing construction projects relating to preparation and application of Interior Finishes, Millwork, Cabinetry, Doors & Frames and Hardware. Will work with a team to accomplish the overall goal of the CoxHealth construction refresh projects. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and is able to complete work assignments. The Construction Tech I may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary and approved by supervisor.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Experience
      • Required: At least 1 year construction or related experience
    • Skills
      • Basic knowledge of skill trades in one or more of the following:
        • Paint Finishes
        • Wall Covering
        • Ceiling Finishes
        • Floor Finishes
        • Millwork, hardware and adjustments to existing
        • Door, Frames, Hardware and adjustment to existing
        • Basic Electrical
        • Basic Plumbing & fixtures
      • Problem solving skills
      • Basic communication skills.
      • Ability to prioritize workload.
      • Basic knowledge of the safe operation of all tools used in the performance of duties
      • Basic knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing fire alarm systems, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems and building repairs
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Active Driver's License
