  • Job Summary
    • To provide assistance to the Administrative Director of Risk Management and Insurance by providing education in the subjects of Incident reporting, litigation, and charting; and to act as a liaison and resource between Risk Management and the physicians, staff, and clinical setting leaders of CoxHealth hospitals and clinics.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
      • Experience
          • Required: Previous Nursing experience
          • Preferred: Previous Risk Management, Patient Safety, or law firm experience
      • Skills
          • Previous experience in Windows or similar software
          • Excellent verbal communication skills and professional appearance
          • Ability to clearly express ideas and point of view in verbal presentations, memos, documents, form letters, reports, etc. using appropriate style, level of detail, grammar and organization of thoughts
          • Excellent organizational and time management skills     
          • Excellent investigative, critical thinking, and judgment skills
          • Excellent computerized and non-computerized research skills
          • Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required
          • Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.
      • Licensure/Certification/Registration
          • Required: MO RN License
