  Job Summary

    • The Registered Nurse working in the Transitional Care Unit is responsible to provide direct and indirect care based on the patients’ needs to include teaching, discharge planning, and care of medical conditions as directed by the patient’s physician. The RN coordinates the multidisciplinary care of patients, and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The RN contributes information specific to the patient’s response to education, medication therapy, pain control, skin condition, bowel/bladder training, and discharge planning. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members

Job Requirements

    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
    • Experience
      • Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
