  • Job Summary
The Senior Learning Consultant (Epic Training Lead) is responsible for creating and implementing a system-wide learning plan to support the adoption of Epic software, as well as supporting ongoing leadership development programming. The Senior Learning Consultant (Epic Training Lead) will develop and implement comprehensive training programs, leveraging adult learning principles and change management strategies to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Epic. Working closely with stakeholders, the Senior Learning Consultant wll assess training needs, design engaging learning materials, and deliver effective training sessions. Additionally, the role will provide ongoing support to end-users, monitor training effectiveness, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

After the Epic project is completed, the Senior Learning Consultant will support ongoing leadership development programming. This role will contribute to the creation of best-in-class learning opportunities that advance employee performance, engagement, and behavioral competencies necessary to support the strategic goals of CoxHealth. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between senior leadership and departmental programming to ensure educational needs are dynamic and responsive to organizational needs.

 

 

 
The Senior Learning Consultant is primarily responsible for engaging the CoxHealth leadership in continued growth and professional development activities. This individual is responsible for leading the design, development, analysis, and implementation of learning programs that enhance operational effectiveness through competency gap analysis, innovative use of technology, blended learning, performance consulting, data and results evaluation using a systematic approach. This role will contribute to the creation of best-in-class learning opportunities that advance employee performance, engagement, and behavioral competencies necessary to support the strategic goals of CoxHealth. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between senior leadership and departmental programming to ensure educational needs are dynamic and responsive to organizational needs.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Experience
      • Required: Minimum ten (10) years experience in education and training, organizational development, and/or leadership role. 
         
        Required: Experience with learning program development, including full lifecycle design (i.e., content creation, implementation, and evaluation) for adult learners.
    • Skills
      • Knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum and program design, teaching, and instruction for adult learners, including on-line learning environments.
      • Demonstrate superior presentation and facilitation skills by presenting clearly, concisely, and effectively with appropriate planning and preparation of content.
      • Demonstrate mastery skill in coaching and delivery of professional developmental feedback (for internal and external teams).
      • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
      • Possess strong project management skills with a proven ability to advocate for change and achieve successful results.
      • Exhibit exceptional problem solving skills using creativity, innovation, and solutions-focused attitude.
      • Demonstrate exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail; prioritize multiple tasks and programs and complete them under time constraints.
      • Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office.
      • Experience using an LMS or other learning platform.
