Job Summary
- Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of provider. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments & maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, or License Practical Nursing Program
  - Preferred: Graduate of a Medical Assisting program
- Experience
  - No Prior Experience Required
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  - Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  - Proficient Computer skills
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - CMA (AAMA - American Association of Medical Assistants) OR RMA (AMT - American Medical Technologist) OR NCMA (NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing) OR CCMA (NHA - National Healthcareer Association) OR NRCMA (NAHP - National Association for Health Professionals, or LPN (License Practical Nursing Program).
  - BLS or must obtain within first 90 days of hire
  - Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment
