Schedules appointments for patients by telephone, fax, Logician, e-mail, or in person. Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for admission into computer by performing the duties listed below.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Previous customer service experience
Ability to communicate effectively.
Good telephone skills and ability to operate switchboard.
Must have basic computer skills including typing 40 wpm accurately.
Exceptional customer service skills, ability to multitask, ability to work under time .restraints and in highly stressful situations.
Knowledgeable of Federal and State Hospital Regulations.
Preferred: CHAA (Certified Health Care Access Associate)
