Summary

  • Job Summary
    • Schedules appointments for patients by telephone, fax, Logician, e-mail, or in person. Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for admission into computer by performing the duties listed below.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience
      • Preferred: Previous customer service experience
    • Skills
      • Ability to communicate effectively.
      • Good telephone skills and ability to operate switchboard.
      • Must have basic computer skills including typing 40 wpm accurately.
      • Exceptional customer service skills, ability to multitask, ability to work under time .restraints and in highly stressful situations.
      • Knowledgeable of Federal and State Hospital Regulations.
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Preferred: CHAA (Certified Health Care Access Associate)
