Job Summary
- Occupational Medicine provides employer services as well as work injury care to a large number of employers groups across the region. The Patient-Client Specialist is typically the first contact our customers have over the phone or in person. The individual in this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring patients have a great experience from the moment they schedule an appointment to when they leave the office. This position requires individuals to have excellent customer skills and a basic working knowledge of front office clinical procedures. This position is responsible for the daily preparation and submission and oversight of clinical patient check-in and check-out procedures as well as billing practices. The Patient-Client Specialist must be capable of managing heavy workload and managing of several tasks at one time. Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience
  - Preferred: Previous experience in patient care and physician office work or worker’s compensation management and care
- Skills
  - Capable of multi-tasking and answering multiple phone lines
  - experience working with large patient volumes on a daily basis.
  - ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
  - ability to work independently or as part of a team
