Summary

Job Summary
- This coding position has expert knowledge in ICD-10-CM coding guidelines. Responsible for daily quality assurance, coding review and assignment for Home Support charges. This position will also review medical records to ensure all of the appropriate elements and documentation are updated for accurate and timely billing.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - Preferred: 1-2 Years Coding Experience
- Skills
  - Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  - Proficient in using computers and computer systems
  - Must have the analytical ability to interpret data contained in medical records and assign appropriate codes for accurate reimbursement.
  - Entry level knowledge in CPT and ICD-10-CM classification systems.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC Credentials
