Summary

Job Summary
- The RN Pediatric Triage position is responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs via telephone contact with parent/guardian. The goal of the RN Pediatric Triage position is to support pediatric practices by using established protocols for communication with the patient’s parents/guardian in a way that supports patient-centered care. Proper triage and escalation of cases to the clinic providers is a key function of the position.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Experience
  - Required: None
  - Preferred: Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  - Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  - Exhibits ability to manage time and prioritize work.
  - Possess excellent time management skills
  - Refer and coordinate services in an effort to deliver integrated health services
  - Proficient using computers, including all Microsoft programs
  - Promote the mission and values of CoxHealth
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License
  - Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
