Summary

CoxHealth is now hiring a Surgical Staff Nurse to join its Surgical Services department at Cox South.  Designated a Level I Trauma Center, Cox South’s Surgical Services department consists of 24 rooms, and averages 60-80 surgical cases per day, with designated specialty rooms (2 heart, 3 robotics, 4 neuro, and 1 hybrid).  Using DaVinci, X and XI robots, O-Arm, and several navigation systems (Stealth, BrainLab), the multi-disciplinary Surgical Team provides a wide range of surgical case types: general, gynecological, urology, trauma, colorectal, cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, ortho-trauma, neuro, Robotics, dental, eyes, ear-nose-throat, and plastics.

Education

Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Experience

Preferred: Previous nursing experience, preferably in an OR
