Summary

Job Summary
- Under the direction of the Patient Transport Manager, the supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of centralized transport. Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department. Coordinate transportation activities and services with other hospital departments. Responsible for effective communication with staff, providing feedback, direction and assistance to employees in Centralized Transport.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience
  - Required: 1 year of patient transport or leadership experience.
  - Preferred: 1-2 years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Skills
  - Supervision of staff employees
  - Excellent interpersonal skills
  - Service/quality attitude
  - Ability to plan, organize and achieve effective time management
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
