Job Summary
- The Insurance Update Rep is responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility and effective date of coverage within a specific time frame. Alerts providers and patients when insurance carriers are out of network. Responsible for memorizing and recognizing various insurance codes. Ensures information is accurately entered into the patients account in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High school diploma
- Experience
  - Preferred: Previous insurance experience
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  - Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  - Proficient computer skills
  - Ability to memorize large amount of information.
