Summary

  • Job Summary
    • The RN with responsibility for facilitating root cause analysis related to adverse patient events or for proactive assessment of high risk processes. Other responsibilities include assisting with studies related to clinical quality improvement. The program is designed to protect the overall health of patients, families, visitors, staff (paid or volunteer) and physicians who visit or work in one of our CoxHealth locations.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
    • Experience
      • Required: 2 years’ experience as a RN
      • Preferred: 1 year experience in management, education, or process improvement
    • Skills
      • Communication and Leadership
      • Data abstraction and Electronic Medical Record Navigation
      • Regulatory and quality improvement project management
      • Instruction-Education
      • Healthcare practices, patient care, and public reporting practices.
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: State of Missouri Registered Nurse
      • Preferred: Certified Professional in Patient Safety
