Summary

Job Summary
- Under continuous on-site supervision of a provider and/or registered nurse, performs only delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations. These duties include preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area and equipment, hands on patient care involving removing and applying dressings, wound cleansing and evaluation, and communication and collaboration with the other technicians, nurses, and providers to manage the patient’s wound care. The wound care therapy tech may also transfer and transport hyperbaric patients and prepare them for hyperbaric therapy.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - Preferred: Previous experience in the medical field
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  - Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  - Excellent customer service skills
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
