Job Summary
- Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Responsibilities include prescription data entry, insurance claims submission, and product selection. Pharmacy technicians present completed prescription to the pharmacist for verification and routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service. Must be team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  - Front End/Central Pharmacy
  - Inventory and expiration date management
  - Cash register fundamentals
  - Direct customer and patient interactions
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician OR application completed upon hired and obtained within 90 days of hire
