  • Job Summary
    • Utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients; identify a plan of care; and implement and evaluate the care given. Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and National Standards of Care as identified by respective professional nursing organizations. Coordinates and directs care given by other team members. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Delegates appropriately to other team members. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem solving skills required.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
      • Preferred: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
    • Experience
      • Preferred Experience: 1-2 years critical care experience
    • Skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent time management
      • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
      • Leadership ability
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
      • Self-starter and flexible with work schedule
      • Proficient in using computers and computer systems
      • Able to work closely and take direction from supervising physicians
      • Broad knowledge of medical practice
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: RN license with the State of Missouri
      • Required: BLS obtained within first 90 days of hire
      • Required: ACLS obtained within the first 6 months of hire
