Summary

Job Summary
- The coordinator of the Cox College BSN Program is responsible for ensuring the Cabool Program is of the highest quality. This position is responsible to the BSN Chair (Springfield) for effective oversight across the program including: teaching, development, planning, budget recommendations, scheduling of courses as they relate to simulation, clinical rotations, and various clinical sites. This individual will participate in the coordination of evaluation activities which are required for program assessment. Additionally, may also be responsible for aiding Program Chair or Dean in hiring of new or adjunct faculty. This position does not formally supervise employees.
Job Requirements
- Education:
  - • Master’s degree required.
- Experience:
  - Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical practice or educational setting.
- Skills:
  - Knowledge of educational principles, teaching strategies and instructional media.
  - Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
  - Skill in providing practice-based health care education and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
  - Competency in proper use of software and office equipment, procedures and other specialized equipment.
  - Ability to mentor peers.
- Licensure/Certification:
  - Required licensure, registration, certifications and/or qualifications that meet current standards set by governing or accrediting body.
