Job Summary

Effectively assesses the needs of customers in non-invasive imaging departments; creates, implements, and evaluates a plan to deliver efficient quality care. Coordinates and directs the services provided by other team members. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Provides oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes across the department. Leads the department in facilitating change, fostering innovation and self-development to achieve excellence in operations, patient safety and quality. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem solving skills required.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Related Field
  • Experience
    • Required: 3 years of cardiac non-invasive imaging experience
    • Preferred: 5 years of cardiac non-invasive experience with 2 years of management experience
  • Skills
    • Represents the department on several process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees
    • Operates strategic plan by setting and monitoring department Key performance measures and goals
    • Determines department scope of care or service in relation to values, mission, and strategic plan of the institution
    • Assist with developing long term department plans
    • Working knowledge in human relations, customer service, inventory management,
    • Ability to work with multiple people while meeting numerous requests and deadlines
    • Goal oriented with initiative and potentials for self-development. Maintains organizational and priority setting skills
    • Delegates appropriately to other team members
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: Registered Echo or NM Technologist through ARDMS or NMTCB
