Summary

  • Job Summary
    • The Ambulatory Infusion Center is a high volume clinic type setting specializing in infusion therapy to non-hospital based patients. The infusion centers treats an average of 1000 patients per month. Therapies include chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood and blood related therapies, antibiotics, hydration, RA, MS and other neurological and/or immunological diagnoses. Requires excellent IV and assessment skills, ability to monitor side effects, organize charts, obtain standing orders, scheduling or rescheduling of appointments as necessary and other duties as delegated.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
    • Experience
      • Preferred: Previous nursing experience
    • Skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
      • Exhibits valuable time management skills
      • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
      • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: MO RN license
      • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
      • Preferred: PALS & ACLS
