Summary

Job Summary
- Under the direct supervision of the Director or Manager, the Endoscopy Assistant performs those duties directly involved with the transport of patients and materials to and from Endoscopy. Interacts with nursing personnel to assure continuance of care during the transport process. Provides assistance with patients, equipment, and functions in the Endoscopy Department.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - No experience required
- Skills
  - Must be physically capable of lifting and moving patients.
  - Must have good communication skills with patients, visitors, and co-workers.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
