  • Job Summary
    • Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
      • Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field
    • Experience
      • Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience
    • Skills
      • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
      • Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
      • Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
      • Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: R.T. (R) (ARRT) 
      • Required: Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire date
      • Preferred: ACLS within 1 year of hire

 Job Summary

  • The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides nursing care to the patient during pre and post-procedure phases. The RN assists in performing interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and stents. Other procedures include inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will circulate cases, administer moderate sedation, pain medication, and any other medications ordered by the physician during the procedure. The nurse initiates or maintains medication drips to manage the patient hemo-dynamically and conducts point-of-care lab testing as ordered.

 Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Experience
    • Preferred: Previous nursing experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
    • Exhibits valuable time management skills
    • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: MO RN license
    • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
    • Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire
