Summary

  • Job Summary
    • Works on Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) & other improvement projects across the organization. Assists in the development and presentation of training material for the CoxHealth Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) methodology & tools. Possesses required skills as an externally certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Champion. Gets project guidance from the CQI Manager.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor's in healthcare, business, engineering or other relevant field.
      • Preferred: Masters of Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
    • Experience
      • Required: 3-5 years of Continuous Quality Improvement and project management experience facilitating lean, six sigma, or other process improvement events
    • Skills
      • Strong commitment to teamwork and ability to optimize efforts through collaboration and partnerships.
      • Analytical data skills to understand central tendency and variation patterns and deploy the appropriate tools to improve the associated processes
      • Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to change.
      • Demonstrated use of basic and advanced lean, six sigma, and CQI tools.
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Certification as a Lean Champion, Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), or other relevant certification which exhibits results using and deploying Continuous Quality Improvement tools

    • Analytical data skills to deploy the appropriate tools to improve the associated processes
    • Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to change.
    • Demonstrated use of basic lean, six sigma, and other C QI tools.
