Summary

  • Job Summary
    • The Cyber Security Auditor is primarily focused on performing compliance audits and risk assessments of general system, application, physical & technical controls to assure compliance of CoxHealth assets through established policies and regulatory/legal requirements for PII, PHI & PCI. This position will assist in the yearly enterprise security risk assessment process and risk reporting. Involvement in business continuity/disaster recovery plan for systems & applications. Will assist in the documentation of internal security policies, procedures, posting and maintenance. In addition, cross training will be included to develop a full understanding of the complete Cyber Security landscape. Continuous learning through “Relentless-incrementalism” is a core principle of the team.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
      • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
    • Experience
      • Required: Minimum 2 years of IT Administration or Technical Audit Experience
      • Preferred: Previous experience in IT systems, platforms, operations & infrastructure and/or security management experience of current risk & trends using a security framework
    • Skills
      • Ability to present information to a technical as well as a non-technical audience and the ability to influence all levels within the organization
      • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic work environment
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to be positive, proactive, and flexible in dealing with a variety of situations, personalities, and levels of knowledge, understanding and experience
      • Strong planning, organization and time management skills
      • Maintains expert knowledge of NIST, HIPAA security regulation and PCI DSS standards
      • Comprehensive knowledge of auditing principles, regulations, technical architectures, control process and assurance practices for IT Security
      • Strong technical understanding of cloud security challenges and controls
      • Strong technical understanding of IT security risks and of cloud security challenges and controls
      • Ability to understand and develop best practices in several domains of information technology
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL or other relevant certification
