Job Summary
The Member Service Rep is responsible for answering Member/Provider calls, written inquires and walk-ins regarding benefits, claims and membership eligibility in a prompt, efficient manner. Participate in all training provided to staff on ongoing bases and promote the highest level of member/provider satisfaction in all areas of communication. Ensure that customer satisfaction is met for both internal and external customers by responding to all concerns timely within the guidelines of the plan in question.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
No Prior Experience Required
Preferred: 1 to 2 Years Experience
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Self starter.
