Summary

Job Summary
- The EVS Room Prep Tech is responsible for preparing and assisting Technicians in maintaining environmental standards. Essential duties include removing linens from patient rooms, pulling trash, removing equipment, sweeping floors and dusting. Room Prep Tech must initiate and respond to communication with the EVS Patient Coordinator and EVS leadership through the technology provided to them.

  - Able to work alone and after hours frequently required.
  - Able to stand and walk on a continual basis required.
  - Observes all safety standards and uses safety work techniques at all times, including wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment.
  - Demonstrates the ability to be an advocate for and strive to protect the health, safety and rights of the patient.
