Job Summary
The Graphic Designer collaborates with strategists, the creative team and others to conceptualize, manage and produce high-quality, on-strategy and on-brand marketing collateral across a variety of print and digital media types. The qualified applicant must be able to traffic their own work and balance competing priorities while adhering to timelines. The Graphic Designer maintains, enforces and executes brand standards for all work, and actively contributes to the creative process and the ongoing improvement of department workflow. Works efficiently with CoxHealth Printing Services and other approved production vendors. This is a full-time, remote position.
 
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelors in graphic design, fine arts or a related field
Experience
Required: At least 3 years as a graphic designer or in a related role
Preferred: At least 1 year experience in digital design
Skills
High proficiency in graphic design tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Strong graphic design concepts and core design principles, including typography, color, visual flow, layout, and legibility.
Familiarity with latest design and marketing trends.
Ability to seamlessly balance long-term projects with daily design needs, communicate (verbally and in writing) well with others and pay close attention to details, delivering art on time in a fast-paced environment.
Presentation, organization and problem-solving skills.
Experience creating, managing and producing design solutions across all media types, including print and digital.
Experience working with project management software.
Must be able to collaborate, traffic work, work independently and take direction well.
Solid understanding of pre-press and production world, CMYK, RGB and PMS color books.
