The Manager of Strategic Sourcing - Direct Spend is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes, drive cost savings, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency within the healthcare organization. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, supply chain management, and procurement strategies.

Education

• • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 

Experience

• • Required: 2 years relevant work experience

Skills

• • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, industry trends, and product specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and technologies.
  • Project management skills to lead cross-functional teams in sourcing initiatives.
