Job Summary
The Infusion nurse provides direct patient care and coordinates infusion services. Nursing care is focused on specialized assessment, diagnosis, planning, treatment, evaluation, education and support for the patient and their family. The infusion nurse is skilled with peripheral intravenous catheter insertion, care and management of central lines, and may have specialized training with infusion therapy.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience
Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required:MO RN license AND BLS must be obtained within 90 days
