Summary

  • Job Summary
    • An employee with overall responsibility/accountability for the delivery of clinical services that meet regulatory compliance, in accordance with CMS regulations and Nephrology Nursing standards. This person will implement patient care and personnel policies and procedures which assure safe and effective care to patients in multiple facilities. As the clinical leader, this person has the authority to make daily decisions to ensure continuity of care and patient and staff safety. This person will assist the Administrator and Medical Director in the development, implementation and evaluation of policy and procedures for clinical operations of both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services. This person actively participates in day-to-day operations, QAPI, regulatory compliance and works closely with the ESRD Facility nurse managers in the provision of safe care for our patients.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR Diploma or Degree from an accredited nursing program with 2 years dialysis care experience
    • Experience
      • Required: At least one year in area of specialization AND one year of management experience which may include dialysis charge nurse experience
    • Skills
      • Ability to multi-task
      • Ability to work with multiple computer programs
      • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
      • Ability to work with employees at various levels
      • Ability to coordinate with leaders throughout various health systems
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Missouri Registered Nursing License
      • Preferred: Nephrology nursing certification
