Job Summary

A leader with responsibility/accountability for managing the department’s financial requirements to include but not limited to: creating & maintaining monthly financial reports, managing and developing annual budget, training and supporting leaders and staff all in an effort to support the mission and goals of the health system.

  • Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Experience
    • Required: 5-7 Years of Accounting Experience
      Preferred: Experience in healthcare in a professional/technical accounting role
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to direct and supervise staff
    • Sound knowledge of accounting principles
    • Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
    • Excellent knowledge of Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
    • Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
    • High attention to detail and accuracy withthe ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
